On August 11, 2007 I was travelling on I-84 near Hood River, Or. trying to make it to Lacey, Wa. to attend the Potlatch Salmon Rally at the Land Yacht Harbor Airstream Park when the radiator in my tow vehicle cracked and my temperature gauge skyrocketed. We pulled off the highway in a safe position and after seeing the damage I called my Good Sam ERS. In less than an hour they sent a tow vehicle out from Hood River. My trailer was disconnected from the tow unit and the truck was towed to the repair shop. About 20 minutes later another tow vehicle showed up and towed my trailer to the repair facility. Being the damage happened on a Saturday we had to wait until Monday before repairs could be made. The owner of the service shop hooked up power to our unit and we stayed on his site until the repairs were done on Monday. This ERS is great!! Not only did it pay for the towing of my truck but it also paid for the towing of my trailer to a site that was very secure and quiet. If you are ever in Hood River, Oregon and need repairs call River Side Automotive. They are a class A outfit and treat their customers fairly. We were repaired in a very timely manner and on our way quickly. We missed the Potlatch Salmon Rally but our truck was repaired and we enjoyed the rest of our vacation.
