We just had our first experience with Good Sam roadside assistance and wanted to let you know how happy we are with the service. This past Wednesday I was on my way to work when my car developed a major coolant leak. I was able to get off of the highway and leave my car in a friends parking lot while I got a ride with a co-worker who was going the same way and had seen me along the side of the road. I called Good Sam ERS from my cell phone and within less than 2 minutes I had a real person on the line who was friendly and courteous and very helpful. By the time I got to work there was an automated message waiting on my voice mail giving me the name, and phone number of the towing company that had been dispatched and the estimated arrival time. Shortly after the estimated time had passed I received a second automated call to make sure that the car had been picked up. WOW! I have to tell you that prior to buying our camper and joining Good Sam we had been members of AAA for about 15 years and every time that we had to call on them we came away from the experience irritated at the long hold times, rude operators, and lack of information. If our first experience with Good Sam ERS is typical of how you do business we're going to be lifetime members. It's never fun to have a roadside emergency but you sure took a lot of the aggravation out of it. Thanks!
